Blackberry Z10
has been on the market for months, but it is still not available for
Sprint customers. According to Lois Eichelberger Fagan, director of
product portfolio for Sprint Nextel, this is due to timing problems.
Fagan said, in an interview with CNET, that Sprint had originally
planned to launch the BlackBerry Z10 and Q10 together earlier this year,
but the timing was just not right. He also revealed that Sprint has
decided to focus on the BlackBerry Q10, and Sprint has confidence in and believes it will sell better among loyal BlackBerry users because of its QWERTY keyboard.
Sprint has confirmed that they will launch the BlackBerry Q10 this
summer and also plans to release another BlackBerry smartphone later
this year. “We’re not done with BlackBerry,” said Fagan, “There’s more
to come.”
