Among a ranking list of popular cellphones’ cameras at DxO Labs, Galaxy S4’ camera gained an overall 75 points, ranking No. 2 just beaten by the Nokia 808 Pureview with 77 points, while it surpassed Apple iPhone 5 at a score of 72. DxO Labshas obtained its reputation as a professional cellphone camera testing and analysis website.
Galaxy S4 achieved it’s high score mainly due to its accurate autofocus in fast speed, excellent performance in pictures delivery, amazing images with high-saturated color in bright light, as well as superior auto-exposure feature. Despite of Galaxy S4’s weakness at image capture in low-light conditions and over-sharpening halos problem, the firm still pointed out Samsung Galaxy S4 continues to demonstrate the cellphone’s inexorable technological progress as manufacturers continue to place prominence on these devices for image capture.
