The website claims that the speculated iPhone 5S could also get new colors. Apart from previous black and white models, the device could be available in green or gold as well. Before there were many speculations that the phone may come in pink. Currently MacRumors claims that the iPhone 5S could also have a dual-LED flash.
The latest iPod Touch 7 already hit the shelves in some colors, which may suggests Apple is planning to replicate this feature with its forthcoming smartphones. According to MacRumors, the cheaper iPhone is said to begin trial production as early as June. However, many rumors speculate the device won’t come out until 2014. The nex-gen iPhone is speculated to be set for release sometime this fall, previously it was said that the device will be released as soon as July.

Apple iPhone 6 Concept Features

So there has been iPhone 5S leaks around the Internet again lately, as everybody want to know how the iPhone 5S will be like. But let’s take focus off the 5S for a moment and focus on the phone next in line, the iPhone 6.

A new concept Apple iPhone 6 is getting people’s attention, as it is more realistic compared to many other concepts you find around the Internet. With a unibody made up of 40% aluminum and 60% carbon, the concept Apple iPhone 6 would be lighter as well as stronger. The concept iPhone has a complete edge-to-edge 4.5-inch display with 754 x 1296 resolution. The pixel density reaches 333ppi, comparing with the 326ppi on the Apple iPhone 5.
Perhaps display changes and material may not be enough to catch your attention; however, Apple might end up focusing more on the “Home button” this time. From what you can see, the concept iPhone 6 won’t have any “home button” as before, but it will be built into the bottom panel which will come with a multi-touch gesture support like on the magic mouse or Mac books.

Confirmation: Apple Will be Releasing Lower Range Models

When something is happening in the cellphone business, we here at ETrade Supply are often the first to know. You may remember 11 months ago, we showed you the first real images of the iPhone 5, or 3 months ago the first parts from the Blackberry Z10. Well we just heard “on the wind” confirmation that Apple will in fact be releasing lower end models.
This is not the game changing move that we are used to from Apple which had kept them on top for so many years. But after disappointing sales figures from the iPhone 5, and not much being expected form the iPhone 5S, Apple needs a new strategy. So it has been suspected for a while that they may eventually release low to mid-range models to make up for lost market share until they can come up with a new innovative idea.

Game Changing Rumours. iTV?
Since Steve Jobs died, there doesn’t seem to be much life at Apple. Rumous of iTV have been around for a while, The china daily even said that Terry Gou the president of Foxconn, told them “Foxconn is making preparations for iTV”. Now even if this is true, how great of a product will it be? Hartfordbusiness.com says “…could get Apple back to its history of radical innovation.” But today, most people know how to hook-up their TV to a computer and download tones of content; this combined with Hulu will keep most people satisfied. So as far as innovation goes, this doesn’t seem like the game changer that will get Apple needs.
The iPhone was a Game Changer and stayed at the top until recently, but only because it was a first-to-market product and had a great brand. The sharks at Samsung knew this and did not sit by idly while Apple had a brain freeze. Instead they started offering cheaper and better products, and they also tackled the branding issue by spending a cool 10 billion. In 2012 Samsung spent 4.3 billion on advertising, more than Apple, HP, Microsoft and Coca-Cola combined, as well as 5.4 billion on sales, promotion and marketing. Money well spent. (All while delivering new popular and timely apps missing on the iPhone.)
So now the story is, Apple needs to make money somewhere and keep the brand alive while they wait for a new idea. So by releasing lower end models they plan to recapture market share, hold interest in their OS and keep investors happy. We all know what happens if you are off in the woods picking blackberries instead of doing something innovative or profitable. So Apple probably won’t find another Steve Jobs like mind anytime soon, but this may keep them in the race for market share.  Will Apple take command of their destiny, and Global Market Share, once again? Will Apple invent and be first to market with the next generation Consumer Electronics Game Changer? Or is it too late and history will note the impending low end release as an MBA spreadsheet contrived “A race to the bottom”.
How the mighty have fallen in the midst of the battle…

iPhone 5S Reportedly Coming in June with “At Least” Two Screen Sizes

Vendors such as Samsung, LG and HTC offer a variety of smart phones with different screen sizes, but Apple has never felt the need to move into the large screen market. Even the company’s iPhone 5 with a 4-inch display is considered small by today’s standards. A new report suggests that Apple may finally be preparing to offer the iPhone 5S with multiple screen sizes, however, as it moves to counter increased competition from rivals. Brian White of Topeka Capital Markets believes Apple is preparing to launch its next-generation iPhone in “at least” two, or “possibly three,” screen sizes this summer.
Analysts also expect Apple to offer a low-cost iPhone this year, although he does not expect it to be priced below $300, noting that “those expecting a $150 to $200 iPhone will be disappointed.”
The latest rumors suggest that Apple will announce the iPhone 5S with a faster processor, better camera and revamped version of iOS on June 20th.

Apple iOS 6.1.3 issues
Just after Apple released the iOS 6.1.3 to fix a security problem that let someone access the iPhone by sneaking past the lock screen, new problems of the update also seem to have plagued some users, who are complaining that the battery inside their devices isn’t lasting as long as before.
Several Apple iPhone and iPad users posted on Apple Support Communities that the battery drains faster after installing the new update even when the device is not in use. It seems that users are losing battery power at a rate of 1% every 7 minutes. Furthermore, some users have posted that their battery went from full to dead in just 3 hours.
Another iOS 6.1.3 issue is the Wi-Fi connectivity. Several users in the Apple forum show their Wi-Fi connections are grayed out or inoperative. This particular issue has been around since iOS 6.0. Some say the problem was fixed with iOS 6.1.2 but came back with 6.1.3, while some say it was resolved with 6.1.3. Apple has acknowledged the problem and offers a support page with suggestions on resolving it. But if the issue cannot be resolved after these steps, you need to contact Apple and your wireless carrier.
Now that Apple is aware of these problems, we hope Apple will push out anther update to fix these problems.

iPhone Found to Be Most Vulnerable to Virus

The Latest news suggests that Apple’s iPhone is more “vulnerable” to attacks than Android, Windows Phone and BlackBerry devices. A study from SourceFire claims that most of mobile phone vulnerabilities have been discovered so far.

The company found 210 vulnerabilities in the iPhone, giving iOS an 81% share of known mobile phone vulnerabilities, while Android, Windows Phone and BlackBerry devices combined to have a 19% market share. A senior research engineer Yves Younan at SourceFire’s Vulnerabilities Research Team and author of the report, told ZDNet that the results were “surprising.” He also said that it was also “interesting” as additional security features has been implement in new versions of iOS.

He explained that while Android may have the highest all mobiles’ market share, iPhones are still one of the most popular smartphones in the world and cybercriminals are motivated to find loopholes in the operating system.
Younan noted that because Google’s platform is already open and vulnerable to third-party and malicious apps in its Google Play store, cybercriminals are less motivated to seek out software vulnerabilities.

Apple’s Plan in India indicates the existence of Cheaper iPhone

Apple looks like it’s making a more aggressive push into emerging markets as The Economic Times reports that the company will triple the number of exclusive stores in India by 2015. Exclusive Apple stores are different from the iconic company-owned Apple stores that we typically see in the United States in that they’re third-party franchises that only sell Apple products. All the same, The Economic Times says that Apple wants to have 200 exclusive franchises up and running in India over the next two years and is also planning ”to expand its presence in multi-brand stores” as well. The move to bolster its retail presence in India comes amid speculation that Apple will release a budget version of its iPhone sometime this year to appeal to consumers in emerging markets such as China and India.
