Finally, after months of rumors and leaks, Apple unveils its new generation iPhone 5S. The new flagship has almost the same external design as the current iPhone 5 with only some small changes on the home button and the duel-LED flash. The new handset is available in three official colors: silver, golden and gray.
The iPhone 5S features a new system chip A7 supporting 64-bit, which is pioneering in the field of smartphone. The A7 chip will allow the CPU of the 5S to run up to 40 times as fast as the original iPhone and the graphics to run up to 56 times faster. Another new feature is the fingerprint scanner equipped in the home button. It’s a convenient and highly secure way to access the phone, and it can also approve purchases from iTunes Store, the Apps Store and the iBook Store.

Another iPhone 5S Part Leaked

The phone part leaker website Fanaticfone.com, who leaked the LCD display of the iphone 5s last week, have again leaked photos of the iPhone 5s front facing camera and again claims that the pictures are real. The website also mentions that the previously leaked iPhone 5s front facing camera pictures by letemsvetemapplem is actually the front camera of the iPhone 5, and not the 5S.

From the photos, it is easy to see that the part, which keeps the ribbon in place, is exactly the same as the iPhone 5. But in the iPhone 5S, we can see that the front facing camera ribbon has a few changes. We believe this could be due to the design changes in the logic board.
In this leak, Fanaticfone does not mention the camera’s resolution. But according to other rumors, the front facing camera of the next-generation iPhone is expected to be 2MP and the rear-facing camera will be upgraded to 13MP with duel LED flash. It is believed that these upgrades in the hardware, plus the latest iOS7 will bring a better and new experience to users.

After the Apple iPhone 5 was released on September, 2012, it has gained large popularity in Smartphone field. Many Apple fans anticipate the upcoming iPhone 5S. According to previous rumors that the future iPhone 5S would come slimmer, while recent information provided by Droidgator showing a motherboard picture indicated iPhone 5S to Come with the same touch screen as 4.0 inches iPhone 5, 2GB RAM and A7 Quad-core Processor. This picture is leaked from Cupertino, California which Apple’s headquarters.
Apple is said to prepare a processor that seems to be made by themselves, called A7. From this picture, we may know this motherboard is almost the same as previous Apple model. The A7 processor is novel and features quad-core one, which will be more competitive with the Exynos 5 Octa CPU produced by Samsung Galaxy S4.
Droidgator also said the future iPhone 5 graphics processor is rumored to be of the Power SGX554MP4 GPU, iOS 7, the quad-core 1.2 GHz A7 CPU, Siri as the device’s virtual assistant, dual-channel 2 GB LPDDR-800 of RAM. It should be mentioned here, once again, that everything surrounding the specs above is a rumor, since the speed of the A7 chipset is not officially proven.
Due to the possible inclusion of more RAM, the user of the iPhone 5S will not trouble when they perform several tasks at the same time. If everything turns out to be true, the iPhone 5S will be able to have what the manufacturer’s current phone fails at: more power drive. So many forecasts it would be weak on iPhone 5 battery. Although there is still not any rumor on its battery, we hope Apple will not let us down.

iPhone Found to Be Most Vulnerable to Virus

The Latest news suggests that Apple’s iPhone is more “vulnerable” to attacks than Android, Windows Phone and BlackBerry devices. A study from SourceFire claims that most of mobile phone vulnerabilities have been discovered so far.

The company found 210 vulnerabilities in the iPhone, giving iOS an 81% share of known mobile phone vulnerabilities, while Android, Windows Phone and BlackBerry devices combined to have a 19% market share. A senior research engineer Yves Younan at SourceFire’s Vulnerabilities Research Team and author of the report, told ZDNet that the results were “surprising.” He also said that it was also “interesting” as additional security features has been implement in new versions of iOS.

He explained that while Android may have the highest all mobiles’ market share, iPhones are still one of the most popular smartphones in the world and cybercriminals are motivated to find loopholes in the operating system.
Younan noted that because Google’s platform is already open and vulnerable to third-party and malicious apps in its Google Play store, cybercriminals are less motivated to seek out software vulnerabilities.
