Nokia is rumored to be working on a high-end Lumia Windows phone with
a 41-megapixel PureView camera. Previous speculations have shown that
the device, codenamed EOS, could be similar to the Lumia 920 with the
same thickness but lighter in weight.
A Chinese website called WPDang yesterday published some photos
showing this supposed Nokia EOS. The photos reveal a polycarbonate body
like the Lumia 920 with a large hole for the high-end camera. The device
is also said to have a Xenon flash for photos and an LED flash for
video. Although it’s rumored that the Nokia EOS will feature a
41-megapixel camera, some are questioning whether the processor is
powerful enough to handle such a camera.
The phone is also said to feature a 4.5-inch AMOLED display,
quad-core processors and 720p resolutions. The latest reports are that
the EOS will be released for AT&T in early July.
