After Apple announced iOS 7, the company sent its first
beta to developers for testing. So far, an iOS 7 lock screen security
bug has already been found. Apple has been working hard to safeguard and
secure its smartphones from theft, but anyone who knows how to exploit
this bug can easily get complete access to an iOS 7 device’s pictures.
Forbes posted new video showing how to bypass the iPhone’s password screen by accessing the calculator available on the lock screen. As Forbes reported, users can bypass the password protection “by opening iOS’s Control Room and accessing the phone’s calculator application before opening the phone’s camera,” which will then let them “access, delete, email, upload or tweet the device’s photos without knowing its passcode.”
iOS 7 is still in its early stages and only development builds are available for a select few, so Apple has still has lots of time to resolve the issues.
